Secondary Camp Eagle
​Welcome to Secondary Camp Eagle
​
Located at the beautiful Camp Eagle Mountain Retreat campsite at Rowallan Park. This will be a great opportunity to make new friends and to meet great Youth Leaders from across Mackay and the world. Secondary Camp is open to Year 7 - 12 students from all Mackay District High Schools.​​​​
Camp Eagle is run on Christian values and is supported by the Churches of Mackay, Mackay Schools Chaplaincy, Scouts, Rotary and community sponsors​
Camp Eagle is an ideal time to get away, have some fun and chill out. There are plenty of great activities to enjoy as well as small group sessions where you can discuss life issues, faith and relationships. Many campers continue coming to Camp Eagle camps during their High School years and build good relationships and memories.

Leaders
All Leaders at Camp Eagle have undergone Child Safe Training and hold a current Blue Card working with children check.

What To Bring
Bring Your Own Food for Thusday night and all Friday. Food is provided all Saturday and Sunday breakfast.
Clothes, towel & swimmers to suit weather and activities ( old clothes for Survivor Day Activities)
Bring your Level 27 (provided free to new campers) - 2 enclosed footwear - Towel - Plate bag ( with plates, cup & cutlery, tea towel and rubbish bag )
Old long sleeve shirt and trousers for salt water swimming - Toiletries ( including insect repellant & sunscreen ) - Sleeping gear , pillow, tent - Camp chair
Water bottle ( keep full of water at all times ), torch.​
​Details
Transport: Students are required to provide own transport to and from Campsite. Transport will be provide on the Saturday day trip .​
Program​
Thursday: 5:00 pm arrive for Registrations put up tent.
Friday: Survivor Day
Saturday: Day Trip off campsite
Sunday: Activities at campsite
11:30 am pack up tent and depart
Registrations
Camp Fee: $60
Forms: The Camper Registration Form and Camping Guidelines and Camp Fee are to be signed by Campers and Parent/Guardian and handed in before the start of Camp.
Forms and Camp Fee are to be given to your School Chaplain (not the school office) 2 weeks before the start of Camp.
Late Registrations will be accepted at the Registrations Desk at the Campsite on the day before the start of camp. Please contact your Chaplain or phone a Camp Director if you intend to register on the day.
